How do I add friends?

Tap the Find tab at the bottom of the screen, type your friend's username into the search bar, then tap Add. They'll receive a friend request and once they accept, they'll appear on your home screen.

How do I update my status?

Tap the Status tab, select On campus or Off campus, choose what you're doing and which building you're in, then tap Save status. Your friends will see the update within seconds.

Does the app use my location?

No. Campus Comrade never accesses your device's location. Everything is updated manually by you.

Why can't I see my friend's status?

Make sure you've both accepted each other's friend request. Go to the Requests tab to check for any pending requests. If you're already friends, try pulling down on the home screen to refresh.

I'm not receiving push notifications.

Make sure notifications are enabled for Campus Comrade in your phone's Settings app. On iPhone go to Settings → Campus Comrade → Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.

How do I accept a friend request?

Tap the Requests tab (the envelope icon) at the bottom of the screen. Any pending requests will appear there with Accept and Decline buttons.

Can I change my username?

Usernames cannot be changed after account creation. If you need a different username, you would need to create a new account.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at campuscomrade.inc@gmail.com and we'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 days.

The app is showing a white screen or crashing.

Try closing the app fully and reopening it. If the problem persists, delete and reinstall the app. If it still doesn't work, contact us with your device model and iOS/Android version.

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, there is currently no forgot password button — email us at campuscomrade.inc@gmail.com and we'll send you a reset link manually.
